Those Who Cite Bk of Genesis to Claim Nobody Can Criticize Jews are Wrong

Gen 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Apparently certain southern fundamentalist evangelist types have twisted this scripture into the idea that nobody should criticize Jews.

Such Jewo-phile Christians remind me of some fat southern white guy who betrays Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of barbecued ribs.

When I think of them, I think of people who treat scripture like a buffet, drooling over their barbecued ribs like the aforementioned scripture in Genesis, while they puke up the so-to-speak asparagus such as all the scriptures in the Old/New testaments that contradict the idea that anyone who criticizes Israel will be cursed by God.

Yet these 'folks', with their mouth slash tongue proclaim that they consider every line of scripture, or every item in the buffet, to be the inspired or literal Word of God.

Criticizing or opposing 21st century persons who belong to the ethnic group known as Jews, is not the same thing as cursing such persons.

According to scripture, we should bless as opposed to curse the enemies of God. How then does the idea that we should bless as opposed to curse the descendants of Abraham, lead to the conclusion that the modern ethnic group known as 'Jews', are always in the right with regards to everything?

Where is the proof that every member of the 21st century ethnic group known as 'Jews', is a descendant of Abraham?

What about all those persons, who are NOT members of the 21st century ethnic group known as "Jews', who are biologically speaking descendants of Abraham? Do the fat southern white fundies claim that we are not allowed to stand up for them and their interests, when said persons and interests are trampled by members of the 21st century group known as 'Jews'?

These 'folks' claim to be Christians. How then is it, that according to them, when a Christian descendant of Abraham who is NOT a member of the 21st century ethnic group known as 'Jews', is being trampled by some non-Christian member of the 21st century ethnic group known as 'Jews', we are obligated to keep silent and refrain from rebuking the so-called 'Jew' who is abusing the descendant of Abraham?

According to Christian scripture (I realize written 2000 years ago), those who believe in Christ are children of Abraham, and those who do not believe in Christ are not the children of Abraham. How then can these 'folks', who call themselves 'Christians', ignore such Christian scriptures while obsessing over ancient Jewish scriptures?

It boggles the mind (see other blog-posts and newsgroup-posts authored by myself), that fundamentalist Christians should forget about all the persons with Jewish ancestry, who are descended from persons such as Christ's family, or the House of Christ, who are now in the 21st century members of the Gentile Christian populations. How can they consider such to be inferior to those descended from the Jews who did not become Christian?

I have already shown in another blog post, how although according to the Biblical promise Eli's family would continue "forever", nevertheless Eli and his family were removed due to the misconduct of the sons of Eli. The point being, that when God promised to the ancestor of Eli that this ancestor's descendants would continue "forever", the UNSPOKEN condition was that they would continue "forever" if their conduct was good:

"Therefore The Lord the God of Israel declares: 'I promised that your house and the house of your father should go in and out before Me for ever'; but now The Lord declares: 'Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed." -- 1 Samuel 4:17-18

Joh 8:34 Jesus answered them...Joh 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you... Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. Joh 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham...Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it... Joh 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad...Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Joh 8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him...

Rom 4:1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? Rom 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. Rom 4:3 For what saith the Scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness... Rom 4:9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. Rom 4:10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. Rom 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: Rom 4:12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. Rom 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Rom 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Gal 3:8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. Gal 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
Gal 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
