Palm Sunday shows historical Israelite Antipathy for Christ's Movement is Nonsense

A VERY GREAT MULTITUDE AS MATTHEW SAID, MANY PERSONS AS MARK SAID, AND THE MULTITUDE OF DISCIPLES AS LUKE SAID, SPREAD THEIR CLOTHES ON CHRIST'S ROAD as he approached Jerusalem.

MATTHEW, SAYS A GREAT MULTITUDE, MARK SAYS MANY-PEOPLE, JOHN SAYS MUCH PEOPLE, SPREAD BRANCHES ON CHRIST'S ROAD, BEFORE HIM AND AHEAD OF HIM, (LUKE DOES NOT MENTION BRANCHES) as Christ approached Jerusalem.

MATTHEW SAYS A VERY GREAT MULTITUDE PROCLAIMED CHRIST TO BE THE SON OF DAVID A BLESSED PROPHET. MARK SAYS MANY PERSONS PROCLAIMED CHRIST AND THE KINDGDOM OF CHRIST'S FATHER DAVID TO BE BLESSED. LUKE SAYS THE MULTITUDE OF DISCIPLES PROCLAIMED CHRIST TO BE THE LORD'S BLESSED KING.
JOHN SAYS MUCH PEOPLE PROCLAIMED CHRIST TO BE THE LORD'S BLESSED KING OF ISRAEL BECAUSE THEY HEARD THAT HE HAD RAISED LAZARUS FROM THE DEAD.

Thus what we have in composite, is what would seem to be the twelve closest disciples of christ, along with the secondary seventy, the "whole multitude of disciples", along with a very great multitude, doing things like strewing branches and clothes along the path of Christ on his approach to Jerusalem. The disciples proclaimed Christ to be the Lord's blessed king, the multitude proclaimed him to be a son of david, a blessed prophet, the king of Israel.

Thus we see a very extreme level of enthusiasm amongst very large numbers of the Israelite people for Christ. This enthusiasm came from not just the seventy closest disciples of Christ but from the multitudes, the masses. This enthusiasm is notable for the level of spiritual sophistication that was displayed amongst so many persons. Many persons of the modern era would simply stay indoors and watch TV re some non-Christian topic, if Christ was walking by on the road outside.

It would be interesting to think, what would the popularity of Christ ultimately have been amongst the Israelite people of the day, if Christ had not been executed by the elite Jewish Priests of the day working with the Roman occupying government.

Christ's movement amongst the Israelites was extremely loved amongst a very large number of Israelites outside of the disciples of Christ. It could be said that if Christ had been given the human right as a popular leader of the Israelites to not be executed, the history of the relationship between Israel and the movement that Christ led would have turned out completely differently.

It does not make sense that any kind of Israelite should say, that the Israelite antipathy for Christ's movement is wise good and natural, when the reality apparently is that the Israelites were deprived of a greatly beloved leader, who they as a people were, admirable, spiritually sophisticated enough to appreciate, because some elite Priests amongst the Israelites had him murdered.
